South Andros is known for its beauty, animals and landscape. Andros is the biggest island in the 700 islands and cays in The Bahamas. It has the third largest coral reef in the world. Those who come to South Andros never leave with an uncomfortable feeling, because there are so many things to do. There are so many different types of things you can do and places to explore, for instance, you can travel to the blue-holes, you can sight see land or sea animals, you can hike to hills and have an great view over the beautiful land. Additionally, you can learn the types of trees, which are used for medicine and walk the beach after having a long day. Andros has some very great cooks too. You can enjoy some great Andros dishes, and will not regret tasting the mouth-watering food. South Andros also has a variety of celebrations, including; homecoming, back to the island, and the conch fest. This year 2014, we will be celebrating their first Majority Rule Day.
